Since our launch in 2017, we’ve piloted three properties—Jai Jai Hooray, Holi Hooray and Asha and Mo. Our human-centered research led to a pioneering children’s collection inspired by South Asian art and folklore that has given voice and visibility to previously overlooked customers.
Umani Studio sees the future and propels us there with whimsical, intentional and irresistible innovations.
What We Do
Insights
We lead qualitative research missions to ask the right questions and produce insights that will lead to true innovation. PoC led, human-centered, and culturally informed.
Incubate
We develop and commercialize new properties that are inspired by culture and identity. Umani both creates our own brands and invests in emerging artists and entrepreneurs to seed their vision.
Influence
We selectively co-create with established brands who can offer scale and infrastructure for ideas the world needs now. Our role is to research, source creators, design product and set market context.
